Checking Power Supply to Brake Light Switch [EC4]

Checking Power Supply To Brake Light Switch





- Ignition off.
- Remove sound insulation.





Connect a voltmeter between brake light switch terminal 1 and ground.

Voltmeter should read approx. battery supply.

If reading is OK:
- Check brake light switch EC5. Check Brake Light Switch [EC5]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check lead between brake light switch connector terminal 1 and fuse 11/12 for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]
