- Ignition on.

Connect a voltmeter between test box #1 and:
- #45 (DTC 3-1-4)
- #46 (DTC 3-1-3)
- #47 (DTC 3-1-2)
- #48 (DTC 3-1-1)

Voltmeter should read approx. 1.2 V.

If reading is OK:
- DTC was due to poor contact in control module connector Check control module connector for loose contact as per HA5 and contact resistance and oxidation as per HA6. Checking Leads and Connections [HA]

If voltmeter reads below approx. 1.2 V:
- Check lead between wheel sensor connector terminal 1 and control module:
#45 (DTC 3-1-4)
#46 (DTC 3-1-3)
#47 (DTC 3-1-2)
#48 (DTC 3-1-1)

for short-circuit to ground as per HA3. Short Circuit to Ground [HA3]

NOTE: In cars with integrated cabling to rear wheel sensors, check lead between wheel sensor itself and control module.

If voltmeter reading is over approx. 1.2 V:
- Check lead between wheel sensor connector terminal 1 and control module:
#45 (DTC 3-1-4)
#46 (DTC 3-1-3)
#47 (DTC 3-1-2)
#48 (DTC 3-1-1).

for short-circuit to supply as per HA4. Short Circuit to Supply [HA4]

NOTE: In cars with integrated cabling to rear wheel sensors, check lead between wheel sensor itself and control module.
