Checking Resistance In (TRACS) Pressure Sensor [EH4]

Checking Resistance In Traction Control System (TRACS) Pressure Sensor
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect hydraulic unit connector C/ED.





Connect an ohmmeter between hydraulic unit connector C/ED terminal 13 and terminal 14 (towards hydraulic unit).

Ohmmeter should read approx. 0 Ohms.

- Now push brake pedal down steadily.

TRACS pressure sensor should now break the circuit and ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.

If reading is OK:
- Check signal lead EH5. Check Signal Lead [EH5]

If reading Is incorrect:
- Check leads between hydraulic unit and connector C/ED terminal 13 and terminal 14 for open circuit as per HA2 and short-circuit to each other as per HA4. Checking Leads and Connections [HA]

- If leads are OK. try another hydraulic unit as per NE. Hydraulic unit, replacement. Service and Repair
