Checking Supply to Pump Motor [EL6]

Checking Supply To Pump Motor

- Ignition off.
- Disconnect control module.
- Connect combination relay 15-pin connector.
- Disconnect combination relay 4-pin connector.

First connect a temporary lead between #1 and #34 on test box.
Then connect another temporary lead between #15 and #1 on test box.





- Ignition on.





Connect a voltmeter between combination relay 4-pin connector terminal 1 and ground.





Voltmeter should read approx. battery voltage.
- Ignition off.
- Remove the temporary leads.

If reading is OK:
- Check ground lead EL8. Checking Ground Lead [EL8]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check control signal to combination relay pump-motor circuit EL7. Checking Control Signal to Combine Relay [EL7]
