FA. Fault code 1-4-2 REX-I

* 1-4-2 Fault in control unit



Conditions for fault codes:
The control unit checks that the internal signals in the control unit are correct. If the control unit discovers that this is not the case, code 1-4-2 is set.

Causes of fault:
Defective control unit.

Fault symptoms:
None.

Checking the fault code
- Delete the fault code according to: "D. Troubleshooting via the diagnostic socket". Bendix System [Regina/Rex-I]
- Start the engine and run it for a while.
- Switch off the engine.
- Switch on the ignition
Check that the fault code has recurred according to "D. Troubleshooting via the diagnostic socket". Bendix System [Regina/Rex-I]

If the fault code has recurred:
^ Test with a new control unit.
