EL. Fault code 2-2-2 Regina

2-2-2 System relay signal absent or faulty



Conditions for fault code:
If the control unit senses that the system relay is short circuited, the control unit will not engage the relay and the engine will not start. A new attempt is made after 1.5 seconds and if the fault has disappeared the relay is engaged.
If the attempt fails twice the fault code is set.

Causes of faults:
Short circuit in the system relay.

Fault symptoms:
Engine does not start.
Engine cuts out during operation if the fault is intermittent.

^ Check that the fault code does not recur.
