G3 Checking Signal Lead, Unlocking

Switch ignition off.
Remove central locking relay D/G.
Remove central locking switch.




Connect a voltmeter between position 3 and position 4 (ground).
Voltmeter should read 0 volt.




Connect an ohmmeter between position 3 and position 4 (ground).
Ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.

If reading is correct:
Go to step G4. G4 Checking If Central Locking System Works

If reading is incorrect:
Short-circuit between position 3 and LS in relay base D.
Correct fault or install new lead.
