C1 Checking Fuses

NOTE: If you activate the central locking relay more than 30 times in quick succession, the relay will lock to prevent itself and the central locking motors overheating.


Checking main fuse
Switch ignition off.
Check that fuse 1 is intact.

If a fuse is defective:
Replace main fuse and go to step C5. C5 Verify Central Locking System Functions

If main fuse is intact: Go to step C2. C2 Checking Fuses In Passenger Compartment
