C19 Checking Ground Lead Switch

Switch ignition off.
Remove door panel from drive's door.
Loosen central locking module 6-pin connector.
Connect an ohmmeter between ground and the lead harness 6-pin connector female section position 1. Ohmmeter should read approx 0 Ohms.

Repeat readings on passenger door.

If reading is correct: Go to step C20. C20 Checking Locking Signal Cables

If reading is incorrect:
There is an open-circuit or short-circuit in ground lead between lead harness 6-pin connector female section position 1 and connection to ground point RH seat lifter 31/67.

Correct fault or replace ground lead to switch.




Replace central locking relay D/G and driver's door relay N.
