C23 Checking Ground Lead, Interior Lighting

Switch ignition off.
Remove central locking relay D/G.




Set passenger compartment ceiling light to position 0.




Connect a voltmeter between position LA and position 31 on relay base G.
Voltmeter should read approx. 0 Volt.

If reading is correct: Install new central locking relay.

If reading is incorrect:
Short-circuit to 12 Volts in lead between relay base position LA and passenger compartment ceiling light 10/22:3.
Correct fault or install new lead.
Verify function with central locking relay installed.
If central locking still does not work, install new central locking relay.
