C7 Verify Ground Cable to Central Locking Relay

C7 Checking ground lead to central locking relay and driver's door relay




Switch ignition off.
Remove central locking relay D/G and driver's door relay N.





Connect an ohmmeter between ground and relay base G position 31 and between ground and relay base N. Ohmmeter should read approx. 0 ohms.

If reading is correct: Go to step C8. C8 Checking Supply (30) to Central Locking Relay

If reading is incorrect:







Open-circuit or short-circuit in ground lead between relay base position 31 and ground point RH seat lifter 31/67.
Replace central locking relay D/G and driver's door relay N.
