Programmed values

General
The following is a description of the parameters it is possible to program into VGLA.
Note that certain parameters depend on the type of control module or central locking motor the car is equipped with.
Certain parameters are market dependent, if unsure contact the dealership.

Siren
Displays whether the car is equipped with a siren or not. The setting should correspond to the equipment in the vehicle.

Siren sound length
This parameter controls the length of time the siren sounds when the alarm has been triggered. This function is market dependent. Contact the dealer if unsure about this function.

Body type
This parameter governs the type of car body the VGLA control module is programmed for.

Turn signal lamp flash acknowledgement
This parameter controls the use of the turn signal lamp flash acknowledgement when the alarm is activated and deactivated. This function is market dependent. Contact the dealer if unsure about this function.

Key position type
This parameter displays whether the control module should detect if the key is in or out of the ignition switch (an extra switch is installed on the ignition switch for this purpose) or if the control module should detect that the ignition switch is in position 1. The setting must correspond to the equipment in the car. This function is market dependent. Contact the dealer if unsure about this function.

Delayed fuel tank filler cover locking
This parameter controls whether there should be a delay of 10 minutes before the fuel tank filler cover is locked when the car is locked. This function is market dependent. Contact the dealer if unsure about this function.

Ultrasonic sensor

Displays whether the control module is configured for an ultrasonic sensor or not.

Glass breakage sensor
Displays whether the control module is configured for a glass breakage sensor or not.

Tilt sensor
Displays whether the control module is configured for a tilt sensor or not.

Immobilizer-LED
This parameter controls the LED function on the dashboard which displays that the immobilizer system is activated when the ignition is switched off. This only applies if the car is not equipped with an alarm. This function is market dependent. Contact the dealer if unsure about this function.

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) indication
This parameter controls whether the indicator LED on the dashboard should display that a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored or not.

Automatic alarm activation
This parameter controls the automatic alarm activation. This means that the alarm is activated when the ignition is switched off, the driver's door opened and closed and all the other doors are closed. This function requires that the car is equipped with an alarm.

Key controlled alarm activation
This parameter controls the function for activating / deactivating the alarm using the key in the driver's door lock. This function is market dependent. Contact the dealer if unsure about this function.

Panic alarm
This parameter controls the function used for triggering the alarm with the remote control. The function requires that the remote control is equipped with an extra red button.

Alarm activation via the central locking switch

Continuous alarming

This parameter controls the function for continuous alarm if any of the doors, hood or tailgate are opened when the alarm is activated. This function is market dependent. Contact the dealer if you are not sure about this function.
