VGLA-control module alarm and lock, replacing

Preparation:

Caution! Before replacing the control module, it is important to read out how the old control module is programmed.This is done in VIDA vehicle communication under the heading Reading programmed values.Read out and note programmed values.After replacing, program the relevant data in the new control module.If the values cannot be read out, consult your closest supervisor/sales company/customer so that the new control module is configured the same as the old control module.




- Note any radio code.
- Turn ignition key to position 0.
- Disconnect the battery's minus cable, otherwise you may generate diagnostic trouble codes, which will be stored, during the work.

VGLA-control module, removing





Remove:
- radio and centre console's storage compartment. Removing the dashboard Removing The Dashboard.
- release the lock lugs (3 pcs.) and lift away the control module.
- Disconnect the connectors.
- the screws (2 pcs.) and lift away the control module.

VGLA-control module, installing





Install:
- connect the connectors.
- control module on console.
- radio and centre console's storage compartment, see Installing the dashboard Installing The Dashboard.
- The ignition key to position II.
- Reconnect the battery's minus cable.

Software, ordering

Caution! In order to program the new control module, software must be ordered.

Order program for S/V 40 according to 9139882.

Caution! When software is available, programming of new control module can be performed.
