Replacing the accelerator pedal module

Removing the accelerator pedal module





Remove
- the soundproofing panel under the dashboard on the driver's side
- the connector for the pedal module
- the pedal module.

Installing the accelerator pedal module

Install
- the new accelerator pedal module. Tighten to 10 Nm
- the connector for the pedal module
- the soundproofing panel under the dashboard on the driver's side.

Note! After replacing the accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor, the engine must be run at idling speed for a couple of minutes before normal operation can resume. The is because the system adapts the new accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor to compensate for any differences between the components. If this is not carried out there will be a dead point in the accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor.
