Adjusting the parking brake
General
The parking brake is adjusted using the central adjuster nut in the parking brake handle.
Note! Full braking power must be obtained after 5-7 notches.
Adjusting the parking brake
Remove the rear bracket
Remove the wastepaper basket. Remove the rubber panel. Remove the three screws. Remove the rear section of the bracket.
Check that the parking brake compensator (C) is at a right-angle. Check the parking brake cables and the brake caliper if necessary.
Turn the central adjuster nut (A) until the handle is positioned against the stop pin (B) on both sides.
Check that the rear wheels can be rotated when the parking brake is not applied.
Check that the central parking brake cable is always tensioned.
Install the rear bracket.
