Upholstery backrest cushion outer (second row)

Removing the outer seat (second row)




Disconnect the side pieces from the seat.








Remove the 4 screws.
Lift out the seat.

Removing the upholstery from the outer backrest cushion (second row)





Remove:
- the 2 screws
- the grab handle
- the panel for the grab handle.




Fold down the head restraint.

Remove:
- the head restraint panel.




- the upholstery from the rear section.
Fold out the weatherstrip from the channel in the rear section.





Remove:
- the upholstery / cushion from the seat frame
- the upholstery from the cushion.
Detach the upholstery from the clip in the cushion.

Installing service clips
Install the service clips according to: Service clips, installing Service Clips, Installing

Installing the upholstery on the outer backrest cushion (second row)

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications [1][2]Body and Frame.





Install:
- the upholstery for the cushion
- the upholstery / cushion on the backrest frame.
Fold in the weatherstrip into the channel in the rear section.
Start with the lower weatherstrip, continue with the weatherstrip at the head restraint and finish with the weatherstrips on the sides.





Note! When replacing the upholstery for the backrest cushion, a new groove must be cut for the grab handle.

Feel behind the upholstery and locate the bracket on the inside. Carefully cut through the upholstery as illustrated. Be extra careful at the ends.

Install:
- the head restraint panel.
- the panel for the grab handle
- 1 screw. Tighten
- the grab handle
- 1 screw. Tighten.

Installing the outer seat (second row)
Lift in the seat.

Install:
- the 4 M10 screws. Tighten
- the side pieces on the seat.
