VGLA-control module alarm and lock

Preparations

Caution! Before replacing the control module, it is important to read out how the old control module is programmed.This is done in VIDA vehicle communication under the heading Reading programmed values.Read out and note programmed values.After replacing, program the relevant data in the new control module.If the values cannot be read out, consult your closest supervisor/sales company/customer so that the new control module is configured the same as the old control module.

Prepare the car according to Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead Battery Disconnecting.

Removing VGLA-control module





Remove:
- radio and centre console's storage compartment. The radio panel The Radio Panel.
- front tunnel console according to Front center console Front Center Console ( Only applies to automatic transmission).
Release three lock lugs and lift away the control module.
Disconnect the connectors.
Remove control module.

Installing VGLA-control module





Install:
- the connectors.
- control module on console.
- radio and centre console's storage compartment according to The radio panel The Radio Panel.
- front tunnel console according to Front center console Front Center Console ( Only applies to automatic transmission).
Turn the ignition key to position II.
Reconnect the battery's minus cable.

Ordering software

Note! In order to program the new control module, software must be ordered.

Order and download appropriate software.

Note! Programming of new control module can be performed when software is available.
