Replacing the stop lamp switch
Conditions
Ignition off.
Remove the panel under the dashboard on the driver's side.
Removing the stop lamp switch
Press the stop (brake) lamp switch, from the side of the connector, completely forwards.
Note! A number of clicks should be heard and felt when pressing.
Disconnect the connector.
Press the brake pedal as far down as possible.
Pull the white bushing (1) as far forward as possible.
Press in the two locking lugs (2) on the reverse. Remove the stop lamp switch.

Press the stop (brake) lamp switch, from the side of the connector A, completely forwards.
Note! A number of clicks should be heard and felt when pressing.
Pull the white bushing (1) as far from the stop lamp switch as possible.
Press the brake pedal as far down as possible.
Install the stop lamp switch.
Caution! The stop lamp switch can only be installed in one way!
Connect the connector.
Release the brake pedal normally
Note! The stop (brake) lamp switch will now be adjusted.
Check the function.
Note! The stop lamp must light when the brake pedal is pressed down more than approximately 1 mm.
