Throttle body, cleaning

Installation

Remove the throttle body (TB). Refer to: Throttle body (electronic throttle module (ETM)), replacing Removal and Replacement




Clean the throttle body with a brush.
Use Cleaner, 1161826
Ensure that all deposits are removed from the marked surfaces.




Carefully wipe clean the air duct on both sides of the throttle disc. Also wipe clean the edge of the throttle disc.
