Antenna car-phone, replacing

Removing the car-phone antenna





Remove:
- the right-hand A-post panel. See Panel, A-post, replacing Panel, A-Post, Replacing
- the interior lighting. See Replacing interior lighting Service and Repair.
Remove the sun visor and the snap fastener. See Sun visor, replacing Sun Visor, Replacing.
Carefully pry the headlining downwards at the front.
Remove the antenna from the mountings (1).
Expose the antenna cable and disconnect the connector positioned down by the right-hand A-post.






Installing the car-phone antenna

Install:
- the connector and antenna cable. Tape the antenna cable under the headlining
- the antenna
- the interior lighting. See Replacing interior lighting Service and Repair
- the front edge of the headlining
- the right-hand A-post panel. See Panel, A-post, replacing Panel, A-Post, Replacing.
