Antenna carphone, replacing

Removal and Installation

Preparatory work

Removing the carphone antenna




Ignition off.




- Remove the right-hand A-post panel. See Panel A-post, replacing Panel A-Post, Replacing
- Remove the interior lighting. See Interior lighting, replacing Interior Lighting, Replacing
- Remove the right-hand sun visor and both snap fasteners. See Sun visor, replacing Service and Repair.

Removing the carphone antenna




Carefully pry the headlining downwards at the front.
Remove the antenna from the mountings.
Expose the antenna cable and disconnect the connector positioned down by the right-hand A-post.
Remove the plastic cover.

Installing the carphone antenna

Install:
- the plastic cover
- the connector and antenna cable. Tape the antenna cable under the headlining
- the antenna
- the roof module. See Interior lighting, replacing Interior Lighting, Replacing
- the front edge of the headlining
- the sun visor and the snap fasteners. See Sun visor, replacing Service and Repair
- the right-hand A-post panel. See Panel A-post, replacing Panel A-Post, Replacing.
Test the function.
