Wastegate Actuator: Service and Repair






Actuator turbo pressure (vacuum)

Removal

Removing the turbocharger (TC) control valve




Raise the vehicle.

Remove:
- lower the engine cover, if installed. Disconnect the connector for the turbocharger (TC) control valve
- the screws for the turbocharger (TC) control valve
- the hoses for the turbocharger (TC) control valve. Note the position of the hoses to facilitate installation.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see: Tightening torque Tightening Torque.

Installing the turbocharger (TC) control valve

Install:
- the hoses for the turbocharger (TC) control valve. See earlier markings
- the screws for the turbocharger (TC) control valve. Tighten
- the lower engine cover, if installed.
