Linkage Replacement - Endgate

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Lower the endgate.
3. Remove the rear compartment endgate liner. Refer to Rear Compartment Endgate Liner Replacement (Rear Compartment Endgate Liner Replacement) .
4. Remove the rear compartment endgate access panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Endgate Access Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .




5. Disengage the endgate linkage from the latch assembly.



Installation Procedure





1. Engage the endgate linkage to the latch assembly.
2. Install the rear compartment endgate access panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Endgate Access Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Install the rear compartment endgate liner. Refer to Rear Compartment Endgate Liner Replacement (Rear Compartment Endgate Liner Replacement) .
4. Close endgate.
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
