Front Side Door Window Front Channel and Rear Channel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement (Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement) in Entertainment.
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
5. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement) .
6. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) in Doors.
7. Remove the window inner weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement) .
8. Remove the window inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement (Service and Repair) .




9. Remove the window channel to door retaining bolts (1).





Important: Rotate the top of the window channel (1) forward to aid in removal. Remove the window channel (1) through the large door access hole.


10. Remove the window channel (1) from the door (2).



Installation Procedure






Important: Install the window channel through the large access hole and rotate the top of the window channel (1) rearward and align on the lower edge of the window.


1. Install the window channel (1) into the door (2).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the window channel to door retaining bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 8 N-m (71 lb in).

3. Install the window inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the window inner weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement) .
5. Install the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) in Doors.
6. Install the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) in Doors.
7. Install the outside rear view mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement) .
8. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
9. Install the speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement (Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement) in Entertainment.
10. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
