Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to SIR Warning (SIR Warning).

1. Remove the lumbar knob from the seat. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement).
2. Remove the seat back panel. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement).




3. Remove the fastener from the lumbar actuator.
4. Remove the lumbar springs from the seat frame.
5. Remove the lumbar assembly from the seat frame.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lumbar assembly to the seat frame.
2. Install the lumbar springs to the seat frame.
3. Install the fastener to the lumbar actuator.
4. Install the seat back panel. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement).
5. Install the lumbar knob to the seat. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement).
6. Verify that the lumbar operates properly.
