Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove lower part of rear trim panel. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
2. Remove the left number plate light. -> 942919 Removing and installing number plate light - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing release for rear lid

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

1. Screw off fastening nuts -1- for release for rear lid -A-.





Detaching release

2. Unplug electrical plug connection -B-.
3. Unclip the release for the rear lid by pulling it outwards through the cut-out in the left number plate light.





Removing release

Installing release for rear lid

1. Installation of release for rear lid is performed in reverse order to removal.
2. Tighten the fastening nuts for the release for the rear lid to => Tightening torque: 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.).

Subsequent work

1. Install the left number plate light. -> 942919 Removing and installing number plate light - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
2. Install lower part of rear trim panel. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
