Level Control Solenoid Valve: Service and Repair


WM 432319 Replacing valve unit (levelling system)

Preliminary work

1. Remove right side of cover for centre underbody. -> 519319 Removing and installing cover for centre underbody - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
2. Remove compressor. -> 431519 Removing and installing compressor for the levelling system Service and Repair

CAUTION

Escaping residual air

- Risk of eye injuries

-> Wear protective goggles.

Information

- Install in reverse order.

- The air lines are coloured and designated with letters.

- Pay attention to cleanliness, if necessary clean the screw connections of the air lines with a lint-free cloth.

- Visually inspect all parts.

- Replace locking screws and nuts.

- Pay attention to tightening torques -> 43 Tightening torques - Refer to Specifications.

- To fill the level adjustment system, use the Porsche System Tester. To do this, in the system >> Level adjustment >> select the menu item ]] Fill [[; then fill the front and rear axles and the accumulator. Switch on level adjustment -> 40 Lifting the vehicle(see Switching on level adjustment).

1. Disconnect compressor from valve unit:
- Release tie-wrap and attachment at support
- Unclip air line and remove
- Remove compressor from support.

2. Assembly is carried out in reverse order. Visually inspect all parts closely and replace defective parts if necessary.

Subsequent work

1. Fit compressor. -> 431519 Removing and installing compressor for the levelling system Service and Repair
2. Fit right side of cover for centre underbody. -> 519319 Removing and installing cover for centre underbody - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
3. Fill the levelling system. -> 4301IN Bleeding and filling levelling system 4301IN Bleeding and filling the levelling system
