EFI-442 Pulsed secondary air injection system (PAIR), flow fault

Condition




The pulsed secondary air injection system (PAIR) is checked by disabling the long-term fuel trim and canister purge (CP) valve control. The engine control module (ECM) then checks the short-term fuel trim integrator, if it is at maximum diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-442 (Pulsed secondary air injection system (PAIR)) will be stored.
