C11 Checking M+ Lead to Central Locking Motors

Switch ignition off.




Connect an ohmmeter between position M+ and position 31 on relay base G and then between position MD+ and position 31 on relay base N.
Ohmmeter should read infinite resistance in both cases.




Connect a voltmeter between position M+ and position 31 on relay base G and then between position MD+ and position 31 on relay base N.
Voltmeter should read approx. 0 Volt.

If both readings are correct: Go to step C12. C12 Verify Central Locking Motors Function

If either reading is incorrect:
Short-circuit in lead between relay base N position MD+ and driver's door central locking motor or short-circuit in lead between central locking relay base position M+ and other central locking motors.
Correct fault or replace lead.
Replace central locking relay D/G and driver's door relay N.
