C12 Verify Central Locking Motors Function

Switch ignition off.
Lock all doors using internal locking buttons and door controls.
Close all doors.




1. Connect ground to position M+ on the relay base terminal by bridging connection from position 31.
2. Then connect battery supply to position M- on relay base for approx. 2 seconds by bridging from position 30.







Central locking module should go to locked position

Checking unlocking works.




Switch ignition off.




1. Connect ground to position M- on the relay base terminal by bridging connection from position 31.
2. Connect battery supply to position M+ on relay base G for approx. 2 seconds by bridging from position 30.







Central locking modules except driver's door should go to locked position.

If central locking modules activate:
Go to C17. C17 Checking Signal Lead Switches

If the central locking modules do not activate:
Go to C13. C13 Checking the Central Locking Motors Windings
