C22 Checking Driver's Door Relay Works

Switch ignition off.
Connect driver's door relay N.
Remove central locking relay D/G.




Lock driver's door.




Ground position M- on relay base G by bridging from position 31.




Driver's door central locking unit should move to unlocked position.

If driver's door central locking module activates:
Check ground lead to interior lighting as per step C23. C23 Checking Ground Lead, Interior Lighting

If drive's door central locking module does not activate:
Replace driver's door relay.
