Replacing Coolant Hose Between Engine And Heater






Coolant hose between engine and heater, replace

Important information
The coolant hoses between engine and heater consists of a hose kit.
When replacing hoses the whole kit and new hose clamps should be used.

Preparations:




Raise the car.
Remove the splashguard. See Replacing heat exchanger Service and Repair.

Draining engine coolant




Drain engine coolant into a container. Leave the container in place.

Hoses




Undo hose clamps and remove hoses from heater.
Lower the car and remove clamps from engine and cowl.
Install new hoses in reverse order.

Final check
Top up using fresh coolant and run engine warm to remove air from system.
