Washer Fluid Reservoir

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Reservoir

Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck ] Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck.

- Remove left front wheel.

- Remove left front wheel housing liner..

- Place a tray under the water line - 3 - for the headlamp washer system.






- Open the clip - 2 - and remove the water hose - 1 - for the headlamp washer system form the hose connection.

- Cut the cable ties - arrows -.

- Remove the plastic wedge - 5 -.






- Disconnect the electrical connectors - 2 - and - 3 -.

- Place a reservoir under the washer fluid reservoir.

- Open the clips and remove the water lines - 1 - and - 8 - from the washer fluid pump.

- Remove the wiring harness form the retainers on the washer fluid reservoir - 4 -.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

Vehicles with Headlamp Washer System

- Pull the washer fluid reservoir forward slightly and out.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 7 -.

- Remove the water line - 6 - for the headlamp washer system and the wiring harness from the retainers on the washer fluid reservoir.

- Disconnect the water line on the headlamp washer pump (V11).

All Vehicles

- Remove the washer fluid reservoir.

Installing






• Tightening specifications and sequence, refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir, Tightening Specifications and Sequence ] Windshield Washer System Overview.

- When inserting the washer fluid reservoir, make sure the securing tab - 1 - engages in the mount - 2 - on the fender.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install left front wheel house liner..

- Install the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck ] Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck.
