DTC DETECTION LOGIC







DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. PRECONDITIONING

If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
- GO TO 2.

2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION A

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Turn ignition switch OFF.
3.Repeat step 1 and 2 for 10 times slowly.
4.Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Proceed to .
NO- GO TO 3.

3. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION B

1.Set the vehicle to READY and start the engine.
2.Shift the selector lever to D and release brake pedal slowly.
3.Drive the vehicle at creep speed.
4.Stop the vehicle.
5.Shift the selector lever to P and stop the engine.
6.Perform "All DTC Reading" using CONSULT.
7.Check the DTC of "MOTOR CONTROL" and "EV/HEV".
Is DTC detected?
YES- Proceed to .
NO- INSPECTION END


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK DTC WITH TRACTION MOTOR INVERTER

CHECK DTC WITH TRACTION MOTOR INVERTER. Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Perform diagnosis procedure corresponding to DTC indicated. Testing and Inspection.

2. CHECK 12V BATTERY

Check 12V battery. Testing and Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Charge or replace 12V battery. Removal and Installation.

3. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Erase DTC.
3.Perform DTC confirmation procedure. .
4.Perform "All DTC Reading" using CONSULT.
5.Check DTC.
Is DTC U0293 detected in DTC P0A1D and an other control unit?
YES-1- Only DTC P0A1D detects it: Replace HPCM. Removal and Installation.
YES-2- Detect DTC U0293 at an other control unit at the same time: Replace HPCM and battery junction box. Removal and Installation and {LINK_TO:0000000007108143}, "BATTERY JUNCTION BOX :
Disassembly and Assembly".
NO- INSPECTION END
