Installation position of TV tuner

Preliminary work

1. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
2. Remove side trim panel for rear right luggage compartment.-> 700319 Removing and installing side trim panel for rear luggage compartment - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing TV tuner

1. Release and disconnect the three connectors -a, b and c- for the TV tuner.

2. Release and disconnect the three connectors -a, b and c- on the reversing camera control unit.

3. Release and disconnect the three connectors -a, b and c- on the trailer hitch control unit.

4. Loosen the screw on the cable holder -1- and set the cable holder aside.

5. Loosen the two screws -2- on the loudspeaker amplifier holder -1- and remove the holder.

6. Loosen the three screws -2- on the TV tuner holder -1- and remove the TV tuner and holder.

7. Loosen the two screws -2- on the trailer hitch control unit -1- and remove control unit from the TV tuner holder.

8. Remove protection cap -1- on TV tuner.

9. Loosen the plastic nut -1- on the back of the TV tuner holder and carefully pull the TV tuner out of the holder.

Installing TV tuner

1. The TV tuner is installed in reverse order to removal.





Subsequent work

2. Install side trim panel for rear right luggage compartment.-> 700319 Removing and installing side trim panel for rear luggage compartment - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
3. If the TV tuner control unit was replaced, the steps "Program TV tuner" -> 911755 Replacing TV tuner - section on "Programming" 911755 Replacing TV tuner and "Code TV tuner" -> 911755 Replacing TV tuner - section on "Coding" 911755 Replacing TV tuner must be carried out using the PIWIS Tester.
