Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove moulding for dashboard on passenger's side. -> 705819 Removing and installing moulding for dashboard - section on "Removing" 705819 Removing and installing dashboard moulding on passenger's side
2. Remove dashboard cover on passenger's side. -> 701619 Removing and installing dashboard cover - section on "Removing"
3. Remove cover under dashboard on the passenger's side. -> 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard - section on "Removing" 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard

Removing glove compartment

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

1. Unscrew six fastening screws -1- at the sides, bottom and top.





Removing glove compartment

2. Remove glove compartment -arrow-.
3. Pull off hose -2- for glove compartment cooling -A-.





Disconnecting hose and connector

4. Release electric plug connection -3- for the glove compartment light -a- and pull it off -B-.
5. Pull off electric plug connection for glove compartment light switch -A-.

6. Release electric plug connection for airbag switch -a- and pull it off -A-.

Installing glove compartment

1. The glove compartment is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. Tighten six fastening screws for the glove compartment to => Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.).

Subsequent work

1. Install moulding for dashboard on passenger's side. -> 705819 Removing and installing moulding for dashboard on passenger's side - section on "Installing" 705819 Removing and installing dashboard moulding on passenger's side
2. Install cover under dashboard on passenger's side. -> 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard - section on "Installing" 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard
3. Install dashboard cover on the passenger's side. -> 701619 Removing and installing dashboard cover on passenger's side - section on "Installing"
