Preliminary work

1. Disconnect battery ground strap. -> 2X00IN Work instructions after disconnecting the battery - section on "Disconnecting" 2X00IN Work instructions after disconnecting the battery
2. Remove centre part and left side panel of luggage compartment cover. -> 700619 Removing and installing luggage compartment trim (luggage compartment cover) - section on "Removing"
3. Remove left side trim panel for rear luggage compartment. -> 700319 Removing and installing side trim panel for rear luggage compartment - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing fan motor





Installation position of fan motor

1. Disconnect connector -1- above the additional air conditioner.





Disconnecting additional air conditioner

2. Unscrew the fastening screws -2- on the additional air conditioner.
3. Carefully unclip locking lugs for the air guide -3- on the additional air conditioner.

4. Carefully tilt the additional air conditioner to the right and be careful with the flexible coolant hoses.
5. Release and pull off the connector -A- on the fan motor -2-.





Removing fan motor

6. Unscrew the screws -1- on the fan motor.
7. Remove the fan motor.

Installing fan motor

1. The fan motor is installed in reverse order.

Subsequent work

1. Fit left side trim panel for rear luggage compartment. -> 700319 Removing and installing side trim panel for rear luggage compartment - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
2. Fit centre part and left side panel of luggage compartment cover. -> 700619 Removing and installing luggage compartment trim (luggage compartment cover) - section on "Installing"
3. Connect battery ground strap -> 2X00IN Work instructions after disconnecting the battery - section on "Connecting" 2X00IN Work instructions after disconnecting the battery
