Preliminary work for removing and installing cigarette lighter

1. Remove cup holder. -> 683019 Removing and installing cup holder - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing cigarette lighter

Removing front cigarette lighter

1. Pull cup holder -1- out of the centre console -2-.





Disconnecting cigarette lighter plug connection

2. Remove cup holder from the centre console.
3. Release plug connection for the cigarette lighter -3- ( -a- ) and pull it off -arrow-.
4. Remove cup holder.
5. Press cigarette lighter socket -1- through in an outward direction -A-.

6. Release the cover -2- ( -B- ) and press it outwards -C-.

Removing rear cigarette lighter

1. The rear cigarette lighter is removed in the same way as the cigarette lighter socket. -> 905819 Removing and installing plug socket - section on "Removing"
2. Release electric plug connection -a- and pull it off -A-.

3. Press cigarette lighter socket -1- through in an outward direction -A-.

4. Release the cover -2- ( -B- ) and press it outwards -C-.

Installing cigarette lighter

1. The front cigarette lighter is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. The rear cigarette lighter is installed in reverse order to removal.

1. Install cup holder. -> 683019 Removing and installing cup holder - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
