Information
If the fuel-level indicator in the instrument cluster is above the half-full line, it is absolutely essential to drain the fuel from the fuel tank. If not, the fuel does not need to be drained.
1. Drain the fuel, fuel level sender and fuel pump installed:
1.1. Disconnect connecting piece from suction hose.
Connecting piece
1.2. Insert the section hose first into the left half of the fuel tank and then into the right half of the fuel tank in order to drain fuel.
1.3. Drain the fuel.
1.3.1. Set changeover lever to "Drain".
1.3.2. Switch on the transfer unit and drain the required amount of fuel.
Subsequent work
1. Replace seals when refitting the flanges. => Seals on flanges
