-> Wear personal protective gear.

Information

- Vehicle must be horizontal in order to check fluid level in rear final drive.

1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -A-.

2. The oil level is correct if the oil reaches the lower edge of the inspection window.

Information

Use only oil approved by Porsche.

3. If this is not the case, top up the oil. -> 399035 Inspecting and adding oil for rear final drive - section on "Filling" 399035 Checking and topping up oil for rear final drive
4. Screw in oil inspection plug -A- with a new sealing ring.=> Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)

1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -A-.





Inspection/drain plug for rear final drive

Information

Use only oil approved by Porsche.

2. Fill in oil using manual metering pump WE 1372 up to the lower edge of the oil inspection plug -A-.
3. Screw in oil inspection plug -A- with a new sealing ring.=> Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)
