Remove lower part of rear lid trim panel. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

1. Release electric plug connection -a- for wiper motor -A- and pull it off in direction of arrow -B-.

2. Release water spray line -1- using a screwdriver and remove it.

3. Unscrew fastening nuts -1- and remove wiper motor -2-.

Installing

Installing wiper motor

1. Position wiper motor -2-.

2. Screw on fastening nuts -1- and tighten uniformly.=> Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
3. Plug in electric plug connection in direction of arrow until it engages securely.

4. Attach water spray line -1- and secure it.

Install wiper arm for rear wiper system. -> 922519 Removing and installing wiper arm - section on "Installing" 922519 Removing and installing wiper arm
