Preliminary work

1. Remove front apron. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Removing"
2. Turbo only:
Remove spray nozzle for headlight washer system. -> 927219 Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight washer system - section on "Removing" 927219 Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight cleaning system

Removing vent guide

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.





Installation position of vent guide

1. Turbo only:
Release and unplug connector on auxiliary headlights -a-.

2. Release wire harness from the vent guide.
3. Unscrew fastening screws -1- (for turbo -2- ) on the vent guide.

4. Release locking lugs on the vent guide. => Releasing vent guide (basic)
5. Remove vent guide.

Installing vent guide

The vent guide is installed in reverse order to removal.

Subsequent work

1. Turbo only:
Install spray nozzle for headlight washer system. -> 927219 Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight washer system - section on "Installing" 927219 Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight cleaning system
2. Install front apron. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Installing"
