Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove wiper linkage. -> 921919 Removing and installing wiper linkage - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing wiper motor

WARNING

Electrically moved components

- Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

-> Switch off electric power to drive motor.
-> Make sure it does not switch on again.
-> Check that there is no electric charge.

1. Place wiper linkage and wiper motor on a solid surface.
2. Lever the push rod -1- off the ball joint -2- using a suitable tool -A-.

3. Unscrew fastening screws -3-.
4. Remove wiper motor.

Installing wiper motor

WARNING

Electrically moved components

- Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

-> Switch off electric power to drive motor.
-> Make sure it does not switch on again.
-> Check that there is no electric charge.

1. Position wiper motor on the wiper linkage.
2. Screw in and tighten fastening screws -3-.=> Tightening torque: 12.5 Nm (9 ftlb.)

3. Press push rod -1- onto the ball joint -2- ( -B- ).

Subsequent work

1. Install wiper linkage. -> 921919 Removing and installing wiper linkage - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
