Replacing pulse wheel

Special tools:
999 5242 RING 999 5242 Ring






Remove:
- Drive shaft, see Drive shafts, removing Drive Shafts, Removing.
- The pulse wheel by splitting with a screwdriver (A) and tapping off (B).





Clean:
- Clean mating surface for the pulse wheel on the drive shaft using a wire brush.

Install/reconnect:
- Apply metal adhesive to the drive shaft mating surface for the pulse wheel.
- New pulse wheel. Carefully tap it into place with tool. 999 5242 RING 999 5242 Ring.
