G2 Checking Signal Lead, Unlocking

Switch ignition off.




Remove central locking relay D/G.
Remove central locking switch.
Connect a voltmeter between position 6 and position 4 (ground).
Voltmeter should read 0 Volt.




Remove central locking switch.
Connect an ohmmeter between position 6 and position 4 (ground).
Ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.

If reading is correct: Go to step G3. G3 Checking Signal Lead, Unlocking

If reading is incorrect:
Short-circuit in lead between position 6 and ULS in relay base G.
Correct fault or install new lead.
