HINT: If a trouble code is displayed during the DTC check, check the circuit indicated by the DTC. For details of each code, turn to the respective "DTC No." in the DTC chart.

C0371/71:

a. Keep the vehicle in a stationary condition for 5 seconds or more and depress the brake pedal lightly 2 or 3 times.
b. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 31 mph (50 km/h). Then depress the brake pedal strongly for approximately 3 seconds.
c. Repeat the following operation 3 times or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
d. Clear the DTC.

HINT:
- In some cases, the intelligent tester cannot be used when the ABS warning light remains on.
- If any of U0073/94 and U0124/95 are displayed, inspect the CAN communication system.

HINT:
- In some cases, the intelligent tester cannot be used when the VSC warning light remains on.
- If any of U0100/65, U0123/62 and U0126/63 are displayed, inspect the CAN communication system.
