Technical values





Removing front lid

1. Remove spray nozzle. -> 926619 Removing and installing spray nozzle Service and Repair
2. Release wire harness for front lid.
2.1. Unclip retaining clip for wire harness.

2.2. Pull grommet for wire harness out of cut-out.

2.3. Pull wire harness out of lid.

3. Removing front lid





Releasing front lid

3.1. A second person should hold the lid to prevent it from closing accidentally.
3.2. Release top pneumatic-spring mounting for front lid and set down pneumatic spring toward the front. -> 553119 Removing and installing front pneumatic spring - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
3.3. Screw off fastening nuts -1- for front lid.
3.4. Remove front lid.

Installing front lid

1. The lid is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. Adjust the front lid. -> 552215 Adjusting front lid - section on "Adjusting" Adjustments
3. Tighten fastening nuts to the specified tightening torque => Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
