Removing engine carrier

Information

- This task can only be performed if the engine has been removed or suspended on the body.

1. Unscrew the two fastening screws -3- at the left and right on the hydraulic mounts from below.

2. Remove the engine carrier by pulling it downwards.

Installing engine carrier

1. The engine carrier is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. Tighten the fastening screws on the hydraulic mounts to => Tightening torque: 60 Nm (44 ftlb.)+/-8 Nm (+/-6 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install the front-axle carrier. -> 400619 Removing and installing front-axle carrier - section on "Installing" 400619 Removing and installing front-axle carrier
2. Install engine guard. -> 108019 Removing and installing engine guard - section on "Installing" 108019 Removing and installing engine guard
