Information

Collect windscreen washer system fluid in a suitable container.





Installation position of pump for windscreen washer system

1. Release and pull off water line for headlight cleaning system. -> 927819 Removing and installing pump for headlight cleaning system - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
2. Unclip electric line -1- from the guide.

3. Release and pull off electric plug connection for fluid level sensor. -> 926719 Removing and installing fluid level sensor - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
4. Release and pull off electric plug connection for pump for windscreen washer system -2-.

5. Release and pull the two water hoses -3- off the pump.

6. Pull the pump for the windscreen washer system up out of the reservoir and rubber sleeve.

Installing pump for windscreen washer system

Information

Check rubber sleeves and clips and replace them if necessary.

1. Press the pump for the windscreen washer system into the rubber sleeve by turning it back and forward slightly.

2. Press the water hoses -3- with the clips over the pump connections.

3. Plug in and lock electric plug connection for pump for windscreen washer system -2- until it engages securely.

4. Plug in and lock electric plug connection for the fluid level sensor until it engages securely. -> 926719 Removing and installing fluid level sensor - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
5. Clip electric line into the guide until it engages securely.

Subsequent work

1. Install reservoir for windscreen washer system. -> 926019 Removing and installing reservoir for windscreen washer system - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
