1. Only for 19-inch or larger brake systems: Remove the fastening screws on the air guide -8- at the left and right. Use a suitable tool to counter the fastening nuts -9-.

2. Remove connecting link at the left and right of the anti-roll bar.
3. Remove four fastening screws on the anti-roll bar and take off the clamps.
4. Carefully pull out the anti-roll bar.
Installing anti-roll bar
WARNING
Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly
- Risk of squashing
- Risk of damage to components
-> Wear personal protective gear.
-> Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).
Information
The anti-roll bar must be positioned before tightening the fastening screws on the anti-roll-bar mount (= front-axle support). Highest point on anti-roll bar arm to lower edge of longitudinal member, dimension -Y-.
Dimension -Y-.=> Control value: 165 mm.

This ensures that the position of the anti-roll bar in the support corresponds to the normal vehicle position.
Information
- All screws and bolts on the axle must be tightened in vehicle position. Vehicle position means: vehicle resting on its wheels, or the wheel suspension is lifted with a universal jack. -Dimension X- from lower edge of wing to centre of axle corresponds to vehicle position. Dimension -X-: lower edge of wing to centre of axle (shown as an example)
- Visually inspect all parts.
- Replace self-locking nuts.
- Replace all expansion screws (screws fitted using torque angle tightening procedure).
- Use correct tightening torques and torque angle. -> 4X00IN Tightening torques for front axle 4X00IN Tightening torques for front axle
1. Position the anti-roll bar.
2. Fit the four fastening screws on the anti-roll bar and tighten hand-tight.
3. Fit the fastening screws for the anti-roll bar at the connecting links and tighten hand-tight.
4. Tighten the fastening screws and fastening nuts for the anti-roll bar and connecting links to the specified tightening torques -> 4X00IN Tightening torques for front axle 4X00IN Tightening torques for front axle.
5. Only for 19-inch or larger brake systems: Fit the fastening screws on the air guide -8- at the left and right. Use a suitable tool to counter the fastening nuts -9-.
